What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website sets in your browser so it can remember things between page loads or visits. Some are essential for the site to work. Others (the kind I don't use) follow you around the web for advertising.
What I use cookies for
This site uses a very small set of necessary cookies only. These are the only cookies set by mysolarbrokers.com:
- Popup dismissal — if you close the exit-intent popup, the site remembers that for the rest of your browsing session so it doesn't pop up again.
- Sticky banner dismissal — same idea for the "Get My Free Estimate" sticky banner that appears on long pages.
- Standard WordPress cookies — WordPress sets a few cookies for any logged-in users (admin/editor). If you're a regular site visitor, you won't see these.
All of these are stored only on your device, and most are session cookies — they evaporate when you close the browser.
Third-party cookies
I don't run third-party analytics on this site at this time. I don't run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other ad-tech tracker. If that ever changes, I'll update this page first and disclose what's being added.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies from your browser settings at any time. Here are the standard instructions for the major browsers:
Blocking cookies on this site may break a small UX detail (the popup will re-appear), but it won't keep you from reading any page.
